Legoland!

After a late night arrival with again very little sleep (seems to be the theme of this trip!) we have arrived in Carlsbad, CA...home of Legoland! The kids were over the moon excited to be here! It is a place Brian has always wanted to come and the one in Dallas just didn't live up to his standards!!! We were literally the 7'th car in the parking lot (seriously..."we are driving 12 hours and have one day and dammit...we are gonna get our money's worth!") and in the park as they were opening the turnstiles.

I am so grateful we came. I have heard from so many people it is a place you can quickly get too big for and they were right. Brian was just pushing that age but fortunately not quite there yet! This was definetely worth every hour we spent driving and dollar we spent coming! We finished off our day taking the kids to the Pacific Ocean...we literally went as far west as we could on this spontaneous trip we seem to be on! We make the giant trek home tomorrow...New Mexico here we come!
